Cheesy Chili Mac

1  Pound Ground Beef
1  small onion, diced
1/2  Cup diced green pepper
1  can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
1  can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes
1 1/2  Cups water
2  Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1  Tbsp. chili powder
1  tsp. Italian seasoning
1  Cup elbow macaroni
1  Cup grated Cheddar cheese
Green onions (optional)


In large saucepan, over medium heat, crumble and cook beef, onion and green peppers until sausage is browned.

Stir in tomato sauce, tomatoes, water, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Add elbow macaroni and stir well.

Recover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until macaroni is tender.

Serve topped with Cheddar cheese.

I still enjoy this idea, although haven't done it that much - at least not an assortment of goodies. I think this year will be the year I go back to that idea and see how everyone likes it.
