Happy New Year

Hello everyone,

I was busy, busy, busy on this page and then it seemed I couldn’t make everyone happy.  If you shared a link to someone’s wonderful page, recipe, photo, craft etc., they would say it is their property and remove it.  When in fact all I would do is post a picture and a description of the recipe, and then provide a link to the page on where they could get the recipe.  Same for photo’s, crafts, etc…. I would never claim any work as my own that isn’t.

When I post something I often will make a comment such as “this was passed on to me by a friend, I do not know the author, designer, etc., if it is you and you would like it removed, please contact me.

So, I am trying to figure out if I continue with this little bit of paradise for me, or chalk it all up to experience and let everyone find all the goodies, crafts, photo’s graphics, quotes and such on their own.

Texas Sheet Cake Cookies

Cookies
1/2  Cup butter, room temperature
1/3  Cup granulated sugar

1  Teaspoon vanilla

Smoky Flank Steak and Three Cheese Enchiladas

Local Photographers

Amazing to me is how you can look at some thing around you every day, but it takes someone with a great eye to capture what you have seen before and allow you to see it in a much better light.

Gifts and treasures

Going through boxes in storage, so many old, cherished memories, my daughter who will soon be 38, and my grandson soon to be 19, I reflect back on the little bits and pieces of items they shared with me.  Pictures, coloring book pages, an outfit, etc… I came across this cute quote that spoke volumes… try to remember this.
